Introduction to Ukulele

Living a new life in Recovery gives us the perfect opportunity to rekindle our creative spark.  Learning to play ukulele can open up a whole new world of serenity in mind, body, and spirit.

In this class we will be exploring beginner ukulele techniques.

Nat Stiles Bio:

Nat Stiles is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer from Fort Collins, CO. They have over 5 years of experience as a professional touring musician and recording artist. They have performed under the record label “Side One Dummy” from Los Angeles and the sync licensing agency “Assemble Sounds” from Detroit. Teaching is a passion for Nat, having worked as the Music Director for the Larimer County Boys and Girls Club and the Performance Director of School of Rock Fort Collins. Nat has been in recovery since June 7th of 2022. They believe that music is a vital and inseparable aspect to their new life. For Nat, music is an emotional language that allows us to express ourselves in ways that verbal language cannot. Nat is grateful and excited to share the gift of musical expression to their new friends in recovery.

This class gives you an opportunity to get organized and express yourself with a personalizable, expressive journaling format. 

What is bullet journaling? It’s a system to set up a journal which keeps things organized using “modules”, or different types of pages, and a legend to keep track of them!

Using this system and infusing your own creativity, you will create a journal which will help create a sense of structure, continuity, and self-expression in your

life. *All supplies Included!*

No experience necessary.  Open to those with all levels of experience in all visual mediums. 


Anna Lansdon
Anna is a queer tattoo artist working out of Glass Moon Tattoo in Wheat Ridge. She loves to create a safe and vulnerable space and help others express themselves through body art. When not tattooing, she loves to create art with paint, collage, clay and resin, and to sing and play guitar. She also enjoys crossword puzzles, antique shopping,and spending time with her dog George.

The Art of Letting Go: Exploring Abstract Expressionist Art Making on Zoom

This is a Virtual Workshop and will take place on Zoom.

Discover the power of spontaneity, emotion, and bold creative expression in this six-weekexploration of Abstract Expressionist art-making. Each week, we’ll explore the techniqueof a specific Abstract Expressionist artist and create our own creations using the same orsimiliar technique.

Weekly Themes:

1. Action Painting & Gesture – Channeling energy through movement inspired by Jackson Pollock & Willem de Kooning

2. Fields of Color – Emotion through simplicity and depth inspired by Mark Rothko &Barnett Newman

3. Layering & Staining – Experimenting with flow and transparency inspired by HelenFrankenthaler

4. Expression & Intuition – Vibrant mosaic-like abstractions inspired by nature,gardens & space exploration inspired by Alma Thomas

5. Abstract Architecture of Emotion – Monumental black-and-white brushstrokesinspired by Franz Kline

Quána Madison is an artist, mindfulness teacher, healing arts workshop facilitator and self-leadership coach. She combines inner wellness practices with expressive arts to promote creative expression, community and holistic well-being.
